La Cigale in Annot provided a much-needed respite during my recent escape. My two-night stay was characterized by simple yet effective communication with the owner via text, ensuring seamless access to my spacious double room. The attention to detail in the room's decor was evident, allowing for comfort during a rainy afternoon, especially on the inviting couch. One of the hotel's understated highlights is its tranquil terrace and garden, which provided a serene backdrop for unwinding after my hike to the Gres d'Annot. Although the town has limited dining options, the peaceful environment makes it worthwhile to spend a couple of nights here for those seeking relaxation. For travelers desiring a brief escape into nature, this location serves as an ideal base.
